The Festool batteries fit so tight they were unusable
Love this product. Quality parts for a much more inexpensive option to the TSO guide rail. Only issue I have is the amount of track that becomes unusable with this clamped on. Nothing to do with the quality of the product though, but the nature of implementation. If you have more than just the one 55 inch track though it’s negligible. I was an idiot and originally bought the blue empire square. Not sure how I missed that the printed parts are colored to match the brand. These Makita green/blue colored printed parts with a silver square look like a natural companion to the Makita track. So, I went back to HD to buy the silver one. What a dope. Anyway, if you want a guide rail square and don’t want to spend upwards of $200 this is a fantastic option.

Solid attachment. Wasn’t sure about this at first, but once attached properly, it feels really solid and squares up really nicely.
Port cover fits exactly as you expect. Snapped right into place and definitely helps with dust collection. If you’ve spent the investment on TS55, $15 for the port cover is a no brainer.
A more affordable option than any other on the market. While easy to get the recommended square from a Home Depot, having a kit with it included would be a nice option.
I break down my sheet goods using my track saw before final sizing on my table saw. I needed a quick way to crosscut square without a lot of measuring. This was perfect and at a perfect price. Works great. It’s squareness is obviously dependent on the squareness of your framing square but that’s easy to get. This is a great product at a very reasonable price! Would recommend.

Work great after setting them up correctly. But Wasn’t sure which one went to the front or went to the back. No instructions.
Bench dogs perfectly fit the 20mm Festool MFT as a less expensive option to manufacturer’s standard dogs.
Why didn’t Festool figure out this idea? Well done!!

These things are flawless and help to solve the issue I’ve had with my Festool guide rail, the splinter guard peeling up. The end caps are just snug enough and don’t get in your way.
This is exactly what I needed for my TSO Rail square, I’m super happy that someone solved this problem. The quality is top notch and the components work together perfectly.
